Actress/performance artist Natalie Johnsonius has appeared on-stage throughout New York City at theaters including The Culture Project, Ensemble Studio Theater, Collective:Unconscious, The Ohio Theater, Urban Stages, The Pelican Theater and Theater for the New City; at the Bridge Lane Theater in London, UK; and in site-specific works at the Botanical Gardens in the Bronx and Manhattan's Riverside Park. She has performed in productions by Paul Rudd, Dan Hurlin, Ralph Lee, Kate Chisolm, David Hunt, and Target Margin Theater Company, among others. She is an active member of The New Perspectives Theater Co. Outreach Ensemble which performs for public school students throughout the five boroughs. Natalie trained at Sarah Lawrence College with Dough MacHugh, Shirley Kaplan and Eddye Pierce Young; The British American Dramatic Academy with Julian Glover, Selina Cadell and Mark Wing-Davey; and at Ensemble Studio Theater Institute, Michael Howard Studios and with Gene Frankel in New York City. |

| Exploring other areas of the theatre, Natalie has created her own works with original choreography, music, and puppetry. As a director, she has mounted full productions of HAIKU by Katherine Snodgrass and L. Frank Baum's The Wizard of Oz. She has taught drama and music to at Primrose Hill Primary School in London, UK and Rockbrook Camp for Girls in Brevard, NC. In addition, Natalie writes for the online arts journal Culturebot.org and curates New Stuff, a series for emerging artists at Performance Space 122. |
